Overview
Robots’ rising prominence in our daily lives have made life easier as they take on duties that are menial, repetitive and dangerous. Have you ever wondered how the robotic vacuum in your house find its way around the house? If you are interested in gaining a deeper understanding on how robots perform their tasks and even program a robot yourself, this is the perfect course for you.
In this course, you will be working with one of the simplest but most powerful micro-controller board called the Arduino Uno. You will build up your understanding of how various electronic parts work through 9 fun projects and test your newly gain knowledge in 5 brain racking challenges. Some basic math skills is all you need. No prior knowledge of electronics or programming is required, and yet by the end of this course you’ll have built a functioning robot car that can perform tasks including obstacle avoidance, path following, obeying instructions from smartphone, etc.
Start the course today to begin your personal journey towards a horizon filled with many possibilities.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand how each component in the kit works in serving the overall function of the robot
- Understand how each sensor collects and feedbacks inputs to the Uno board which serves as the brain
- Write codes in Arduino IDE to program mechanical responses according to the type and magnitude of input parameters
Curriculum
